Chuck has been building homes and leading construction and environmental contracting companies for 25+ years. Chuck specializes in building future-ready homes that prioritize energy efficiency, fire resilience, and environmentally friendly practices. His expertise lies in integrating advanced building techniques and materials to enhance the durability and comfort of homes, ensuring they meet the evolving needs of modern living while respecting the earth and surrounding landscape.

Chuck is a licensed General Contractor (GC), a FEMA Certified Site Inspector, and a graduate of the University of Notre Dame with a BS in Mechanical Engineering.

PRINCIPAL, HEAD OF DESIGN

Steffen is an award-winning Architectural and Interior Designer with nearly 30 years of experience in residential design and construction. During that time he has overseen more than 250 projects in the United States, Mexico, and France. Steffen has worked with clients in a broad variety of architectural styles, from a Provençal country house to a seaside New England shingle-style home to a Mid-Century Modern masterpiece in Scottsdale, Arizona.

As diverse as all of these projects are, what unites them is Steffen’s devotion to helping clients realize their dream home while also working to keep their project on time and on budget. 

Andrews has worked with Joubert Homes since 2018 and has helped nurture the company’s transition and focus to Passive Home construction.

A passionate advocate for sustainability and next-generation building techniques, Darin is committed to expanding the awareness, understanding, and implementation of the Passive House standard.

Tim directly supervises our projects, ensuring the highest quality outcomes for our clients. Tim’s background in Mechanical Engineering and Passive House Trades Certification give him a clear understanding of the technical aspects that makes a passive house project successful.

Renowned for crafting elevated, timeless interiors tailored to the unique project needs of her clients, Marissa Scherr’s portfolio spans the globe. Encompassing projects across her native California, to New York, Colorado, Australia, and Europe, she has had the privilege to work with incredible clients and teams. As a LEED-accredited professional, Marissa seamlessly integrates sustainable practices into every project. Her signature style features warm, contemporary aesthetics while collaborating with unique artisans and trades, ensuring each space not only reflects a client’s vision, but their values as well.

Beyond her design practice, Marissa shares her expertise as a university instructor, teaching courses on design and sustainability. This academic involvement keeps her at the forefront of industry innovations while nurturing the next generation of design talent.
